This new exploration of ambient electronica spans genres, borrowing from all corners of electronic and other various styles as Isotope of Me's follow up to the 2011 album Geometry. This 5 song digital e.p. ventures further into the use of agressive theme's than previous material from the artist, and also borrows more from an upbringing playing classical music.
Isotope of Me explores sound design through various digital, analog and electro-acoustic methods. Starting compositions from sound creation and the inspiration found through exploration gives the final compositions an original sound and flavor while keeping them accessible by blending them with familiar structures and elements from electronic and pop music. The end result are head bobbing, danceable songs with unique textures and melodic elements.
With over 20 years of composition and recording experience, Benjamin Cameron currently lives and works in New York City where he finds daily inspiration for songwriting and sound design.
Special thanks to Baku Digital and Department of Improbability for workshopping the songs with me and being generally good guys.
